Network problem

I installed 3CX on a Compaq Proliant DL380-G1 with Windows 2000 server.

The network is active DHPC server for all PCs including Compaq servers.

When I log into the 3CX admin-area after a few seconds I can not access to the Router and is no longer possible to connect to the Internet.
The network continues to be accessible between PCs, only Router and Internet are not accessible.

Same trouble if I assing a static IP for the server Compaq.
Can you help me ?

Why not try installing the 3cx software on a machine in your network that you know has network and internet access. If the same problem arises, then you know it should not be a network issue.

Windows 2000 Server - 8 years old. I don't know that it's even fully supported.
It sounds like your box is dropping its routing table whenever you login to the admin panel (at least, from what I understood of what you wrote).

Here's your list of potential problems:
1) The server you listed has a baseline of only 128MB of memory (you may have upgraded, but that's how Compaq originally sold 'em). If you're attempting to run other services on this box AND 3cx, you could be bringing down one or more services on the box, including your routing tables, causing you to lose internet access.
2) Server 2000 is not fully supported by 3cx.
3) Your network topology should be more clearly defined.
4) Logs, as always, are handy.
