Hi,

we have got a new Android phone Samsung Galaxy A13. I have installed 3CX but unfortunately provisioning is not going.

So far what I did:
1. Send config mail tried to open config file. Name, number and server FQDN came but no connection with Server.
2. Scanning QR code inside 3CX got a failure:
Failed to provision by scancode Provisioning via QR code. Possible causes:
- The 3CX web server is not reachable (from your location). Contact your administrator.
- QR-based provisioning is done via 3CX web client, make sure that secure HTTPS connections are not allowed via Google Chrome.
- Beside HTTPS it is necessary to use your FQDN. "https://[IP address]/" is not supported. Required information: "https://[FQDN]/".
- The installed QR reader app is malfunctioning, or the app is already being used by a camera app. Restart the mobile device or uninstall and reinstall the app.

3. Scaning with Camera, copy to link to Chrome does not work.
-tried also outer LAN with FQDN of server,
- inside LAN (WIFI) and also with VPN IP address+port not working.

By the way with VPN I can pinging to 3CX server.

any urgent help is very appreciated.

Hi @Cimmerian

Firstly, from your post I can see that you have an old version of the client installed.
We have released a new version today, version 18.1.3.128. Could you kindly update the app?

Other things to consider:
1. Do you have a valid certificate?
2. From the same location, can you try accessing the webclient from your phone's browser? If not, this is a network or pbx issue.

ThomB_3CX thanks for the quick respond.

I have installed the new version but config or scancode work not.
I know that is network or PBX problem. But this is not the only one. Some of the android devices accepted the config but some of not.
Therefore I am writing here to get a reply from someone if he has the same problem and solved it.

@Cimmerian understood.
Did you check the 2 points under 'Other things to consider' ?

As if it's a network/pbx issue, I would suggest for you to open a thread of the relative forum section
