new BLF softphone user access

Does anyone have a way to allow users to modify their own BLF fields on the new version 14 client without giving them full access to modify their extensions?

Unless you have access to the DB then no. I saw it was coming - perhaps in SP2.
Even someone asked about a separate soft phone BLf from the desktop phone BLF list n
