Switched to hosted this morning, I can access my system from some computers on my network but not others. all computers are setup with static ip's in the same manner. but cannot access web client on 2 machines but I can on 3 others. One of the machines was the original server and I have uninstalled the system from it, the other machine may have had it installed on it a few years ago.

Test DNS with nslookup and ping. Did a hosts file get edited?

Completely unrelated to 3CX I did just have a weird experience on Windows 10 where ping and nslookup had different DNS results until I restarted, no matter what I tried. Haven’t seen that before.

did nslookup

idid figure this out, will leave this information for anyone else that might have the problem. When 3cx server is uninstalled from a computer it does not remove the fqdn line from the windows hosts file. over the years I had it installed on 3 seperate machines and I had to manually remove it from each file. Research how to edit hosts file and you can fix this.

Did the host files were manually configured on each machine?

0Yes 3cx was previously installed on each of the 3 machines and I had to delete the entry in the host file on each machine.

If this was manually added it will not be deleted from the uninstall.
Also after uninstall do you reboot the server?

This was not manually added, this must be installed by 3cx when you add a fqdn, but not removed when you uninstall otherwise it would have been gone on all 3 machines. Yes I did reboot several times after uninstall.

@sequoyahdog, I just wanted to Thank You! I have had this problem for a while at a client location. We searched everything and never came up with an answer. You have provided what I have been searching for. Thanks again
