New Install

New install, seen free, was all over it, now I'm seeing that startup isn't a thing anymore and it won't be free after 2 months.

Will I be required to buy the license? Was hoping on using this platform for businesses too, and whatnot.

The only free option is the free SMB nothing else. If you like to use it somewhere else you need at least a pro licence.

Can you please speak a bit more clearer? I don't understand you. I have a Proxmox server, and have downloaded the ISO. It says the license is going to renew in November, and I assumed that means I have to purchase a license then.

I've been reading also on the website that its only a 2 month license to get acclimated. Is smb an option only for hosted by 3cx? I did have another on this account prior, but removed because I couldn't get my sip provider added, or didn't have need for it ultimately because I was working.

Now that things in life have changed - penny pinching and the functionality that 3cx offers is pretty impressive.

I do have the money, just like I said penny pinching!

Thats correct, i would go this way. The free SMB is only hosted by 3cx and with a lot limitations.
