Hello,
A sper latest verson, the problem with phone directory searching with part of the name is still not fixed?
Also, just found a new problem:
-If you want to copy a number from outside the app, and past it in the app, it gives a strange behaviour like a big white scare.
-If you want to change the number, there is no marker to go and correct a number in the middle of the number, you cannot see any marker in the middle, at the end, at the begning, wherever you want to apply corrections.

Thanks.

I just searched for "Cr" and my entry showed up fine.

I just pasted a number in from an email.... I long pressed. It came up with a small menu to Paste - I tap Paste and the number comes in. You are correct however, that I was not able to edit that number. But in reality, I have no reason to edit the number as I just copied it from an email.

Hi, Thank you for your quick feedback.

Regarding the directory, the problem is more if your number is under: craigreilly
I remember only about the last part of your entry (reilly), then I look for reilly and nothing is showing up as result.

Please note that the reality of companies can be very different that what you can imagine... For example, a number which is writen in an email without country extension can be pasted into 3CX, then we would have to add before the country extension numbers and removing the 0 at the begining.

Hope this will help.

My name search works however.... rai, aig, Re, eil, etc...

The removing of the 0 is an issue... you can prepend by typing the numbers before pasting.

I explained at one time, this is a PBX-related behavior: search for name is performed "start with", search for number is "containing". Therefore, if you search for "JM" you will get "JMG", but if you search for "MG", you will get nothing. Accordingly, if you need number 1234 and you search for "123", you will get it, the same as if you search for" 234".

Notable TRAP is following case: I have craigreilly, and I when I searched for "reilly" it found it! No, it didn't find the name, it find its eMail.

Got it, thanks. But in the curretn version of 3CX app, this is not an issue. This is why it seems not a satisfying answer to me, why to get a Beta version and get some downgraded behaviours at some points?

For the 0,and the behaviour of the pasting, it is exactly the same, the current version of 3CX is allowing that. That means that the replies given to the users are:
"We know that our solution is not perfect but as you are the only one complaining and we don't have quick answer, we think this is a waste of time to solve the issue"
--> Trust me, the Beta is only being tested by a small percentage of the 3CX community, so if I can notice those bugs, I will not be the only one not happy with it when it will be time to release the new 3CX app.

Hope to help again, not here to argue, but to improve YOUR product...
Thanks

@JMG, it seems my answer wasn't clear enough: the issue you described it's a PBX behavior, not clients' (iOS/Android) - the PBX team has been informed about it.

Since the latest update the Iphone app no longer rings on inbound calls.
