I just got a bunch of emails showing the new prices for licensing and hosting.

Example
Pro 4SC $195

Hosting 4SC $250

My question is "does the hosting cost include the license for a total of $250/year for 4SC. Or would the cost be $445/year. I think its the latter, but just want to make sure.

After getting the email myself this morning I spoke to customer services and it would appear that the cost is licence PLUS the hosting. So far from the 10% to 20% increase the March email indicated, it is much higher - almost 35% on a Pro 4SC licence and over 50% on the hosting. So I was wondering, is the idea to get rid of the 4 and 8 SC levels in favour of the SMB version (which currently has a very reasonable hosted price - albeit with some limitations) ?

Yes I appreciate 3CX is still generally a reasonable cost, but this type of price hiking may send a bad signal for the future - many of those that moved to 3CX because of its original pricing structure may now start to rethink if this sort of thing is the direction it may head.

This is a HUGE price increase, over 60% on a hosted 4SC Pro. We're probably going to end up downgrading all our 4SC Pro licenses to SMB. Unfortunately some people are still tied to faxes which SMB does not support and they all hate those idiotic 5 digit extensions.
