Hello,

It seems like the new client installs itself to %localappdata% folder. This is an issue for environments that use roaming profiles. Is there a way to change this where the app would install to the roaming folder instead?

In addition to that, there needs to be a way to autoprovision using gpo. It is my understanding that the QR code URL is needed. Is there a way to export a list of all QR code urls for all extensions?

Thanks

Hi @Eli55,

The new Desktop App should be installing to C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\3CXDesktopApp.

I'm afraid not at present.

It is actually installing into appdata\local folder...

Hi @Eli55,

Does it install there if you uninstall the Desktop App and reinstall it?

Yes. C:\Users\XXXXXXXXX\AppData\Local\Programs\3CXDesktopApp\app

Yes, the executable. I'm unable to see that page... There is no sense in having the executable install in localappdata. this way, every time a user logs in to a new pc, they would have to install the app all over. The workaround is to copy it using powershell on login.

Ok got it, but that is for remote desktop. Basically if I do msi deploy to all pcs or run it as admin, it should install in program files or data folder?
