newbie HELP to get feet of the ground

Hi all, newbie alert :mrgreen:

I have a HP server, which has 2 NIC's
do i use both NIC's?
Is 1 NIC for internet traffic and the other NIC for 3cx/SIP traffic?


My SIP provider has told me i need to manualy enter my IP address, gateway and DNS to 10.x.x.x

Do i use 192.x.x.x on the other NIC ?


when i do what i think i need to do, internet doesnt work due to a message about gateway conflicts on NIC's

Use one network card in the server, 3cx does not work with two network cards

Protect your network using a firewall, http://www.3cx.com/docs/firewall-router-configuration-VoIP

You will configure the wan port of the firewall and config it with your ISP IP address info, then open the ports up to point to the internal IP address of the server
