This is a standard migration from onprem to the cloud, previously tested with Google cloud, but on this occasion Azure. Can I first just say before running a backup, I changed access to grant any IP access to the Management Console, also I ran a full backup (license et all).
After manually backing up our on prem PBX, I deployed a new VM onto Azure using the 3CX image from the marketplace. The onprem VM was then shutdown.
Browsing to the 3CX wizard on the Azure VM, I uploaded and restored the backup file previously created. The license automatically activated, with the static Public IP address assigned during creation of the Azure VM. I can then browse to the login URL using the FQDN.
This is when things begin to fall apart.... I am unable to logon to the management console from behind my company Public IP, but I can using data connection from my mobile provider.
I am also unable to setup a SBC. I am using the latest Debian ISO, but when go through the setup process it does not recognise the Authentication ID provided for the SBC in the Management Console.
This is high level (in terms of describing state....but I will say I had none of these problems when I was deploying to Google Cloud), but would appreciate advice....
