Please excuse if this has been asked before, or if there is a link to proposed release dates, but when will the next stable "release" be issued?

The reason I ask is that we're currently on 15.5.10244.4 and we have a Fanvil X6 phone that has managed to update itself to the latest 3CX firmware version, but it's only supported in the latest "Beta" version, and I can't find a link to downgrade it back to 1.2.5.

From past experience 3CX do not issue proposed release dates. Normally they will say a release is available "soon", like they have done for the next SP release.

This should not be too long now I don't think - I am waiting for support for the Grandstream Gateways.

Hello @Justin D

You could upgrade your PBX to service pack 5 which is already out that supports firmware 1.4.4.2 for Fanvl X6 devices. It is still not known when SP6 will be released.

Apart from the SP5 Beta we've got all the updates as far as I'm aware?

As the advice is not install the Beta's on a "production" system then I am reluctant to install it in case we have any issues, and therefore no support.

Please note that SP5 has been officially released and is no longer in Beta stage. What version do you see as available?

We are on 15.5.10244.4 and in the updates section all that is offered is "New 15.5 SP5 Beta", which is 15.5.12663.5?

Are we missing some other date?

Are you running windows or Linux as i believe you are running on the Beta repository.
The official release is 15.5.13103.5

We are on Linux in the cloud, installed on 1&1 via the PBX Express tool.

What's the best way to "update" us to the correct version?

You will need to access the OS of your linux installation and look at the repository by typing:

Code:
cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/3cxpbx.list

if you are running Debian 9 you should see the following:

Code:
deb http://downloads.3cx.com/downloads/debian stretch main

Also navigate to Settings / Parameters of the system and search for DOWNLOADS_URL.
Make sure that the word "Beta" is not appended to the link.

After you insure these are correct check for updates again

I'll have a look tomorrow when it's quiet but I don't think we have that kind of access with the 1&1 Cloud instance.

Just discovered that we are on Debian 8 so that needs to be updated, and I've also discovered that we've lost the root password so it looks like I'll have to rebuild the PBX in a new instance anyway over the weekend...

If you are going to rebuild the instance make sure you have a recent backup and download the latest installer which will install SP5 directly.
