Hi all, since updating 2 of my PBX's to version 15 SP5, now when the Windows system that 3CX is installed on reboots, NGINX service fails to start. I have to manually enter services.msc and start the service, even though it is left on Automatic. This happens after every time the system reboots. I see this warning in the Application logs: Child process [5220 - C:\Program Files\3CX Phone System\Bin\nginx\nginx.exe "-pC:\Program Files\3CX Phone System\Bin\nginx" ] finished with 2

change the start type from automatic to automatic (delayed start) to see if this make any difference

Hello @Chris Walters

What windows version are you running the PBX on? Are both machines on the same version?

Hi

I am getting the following error

2018/07/01 11:02:19 [emerg] 2192#5816: CreateFile() "C:\Program Files\3CX Phone System\Bin\nginx/conf/shared-headers.conf" failed (2: The system cannot find the file specified) in C:\Program Files\3CX Phone System\Bin\nginx/conf/nginx.conf:62

We're having the same issue. Did you find a fix?

I had a wildcard SSL certificate that I'd bought, and set up in nginx that had expired. I eventually realised that in the Program Files\3CX Phone System\Bin\nginx\conf\instance1 folder, .domainname.com-crt.pem and *.domainname-key.pem files should have been there, but were actually missing.
I created some self signed ones again, put them in there, and the nginx server was suddenly starting again.
It could be something SSL related causing you grief.
