Hello there!

I'm using the free 6 version of 3CX with all updates installed on a Microsoft Windows 2003 Web Edition. I can call, receive calls, and call the voicemail by tiping 999 and entering my pin.

My problem is that if an external call is forwarded to the voicemail after the timeout i can't hear anything. The same problem happens if I call an unregistered extension.

I got the same problem if I call the voicemail number, in my case 999, I type the pin and then I press 9 to change some options.

This is the log of the server:
12:59:23.194 CallCtrl::onLegConnected [CM503007]: Call(17): Device joined: sip:[email protected]:40600;rinstance=662a6c65f8010571

12:59:22.741 CallCtrl::onIncomingCall [CM503001]: Call(17): Incoming call from Ext.101 to "107"[sip:[email protected]]

3CX is running on an IBM xSeries 345 wihtout a sound card installed, buy I installed Windows Media Player, updated it and I tried to open an mp3 file. WMP asked me to install the codec and I confirmed. Of course I can't hear the mp3 files since there isn't a sound card installed.

Could someone help me to solve this problem?

Thank you very much in advance!!!

It seems you have some Network and firewall issues you need to look into.

However some points to check are the following:

- Seems it seems you are using a remote extension, ensure you have STUN enabled on this remote extension
- Ensure you have set up port mapping as explained in http://www.3cx.com/support/nat-firewalls.html

regards

Hello Alex,

you found the problem! :)

I installed the 3CX Client and I set up Tunnel parameters, now it works fine!

Thank you very much for your tip!
