Hello,

I am using the 3CX Web Client and I have an employee who cannot hear anything once they receive a call from our queue. The keypad button gets greyed out and they are unable to hear the customer and vice-versa. While testing, they are able to receive calls from internal contacts such as coworkers and leads for example, but incoming calls from the queue will not work. If they attempt to call someone internally or externally, there is no audio on either side. While using 3cx windows client, the calls go in and out with no issue at all. Reset settings laptop, cleared cookies and cache and still cannot figure out what the issue is. Any suggestions to what the issue is or how to troubleshoot/fix this issue?

Hi,

Please check the following and also give us some more details:

- Run the 3CX Firewall tester now and see if any ports fail
- State your PBX's Exact Version
- What browser the employee uses (and version please)
- Did they set their audio settings correctly in the webclient Settings > Personalize > Audio Video
- Did they allow the webclient site to access their mic - verify it, be 100% sure
- Do they access the webclient via HTTPS or plain HTTP?
- Does it say webclient on the top right like the picture?

I am seeing the same issue for multiple clients. All the Clients were working fine for the last year or so, then in the last 2 days I have received multiple calls on this issue.
I have found that the issue is with the new version of Chrome being pushed out. All of which the Chrome Version had been updated to 85.0.4183.83
I have had to connect them via Firefox to get them working again.

I ran into a strange audio problem this morning as well. None of my web client users had outgoing audio but the android app and desk phones worked. I'm on version 16.0.5.622. I rebooted 3CX and I also tried to make a call through firefox and there was no outgoing audio. Several chrome users continued to also have the issue. About 15 minutes later it started working again and has worked since. Everything was showing normal and I wasn't able to nail down what happened or why it's working now. Has me a little worried. It almost seemed like a firewall issue but it's a fortigate which is usually very stable and trouble free and again I didn't make any changes to break anything or fix anything. This is a long time install that's always had no issues.

We're having this issue as well - any calls placed through the webclient are getting no audio. Will try and reboot when calls are inactive.
