Hi,

Tearing my hair out with this. Outgoing calls from a remote extension work absolutely fine, but there is no audio on incoming calls. (Hosted 3CX instance). Below is the remote end firewall setup:

Here is the phone setup:

But, I do notice the end message in the log. Not sure how authentication can't be working if outgoing calls are OK?

Thanks for your reply, but I only have one at the moment. (testing at home before deployment - not going well!)

Hello @DanOvery

Is there no audio in both directions or are you experiencing one way audio? As above make sure that the SIP and RTP ports and forwarded to the local IP of the phone and try again.

Does the 3CX firewall test complete successfully?

In some cases, the router used at the remote end can make a difference, some are able to handle the voice packets better than others. Are there any other SIP devices used at the far end, built into the router perhaps?

Hi!

Make sure SIP ALG is turned off on remote router.

on PBX check the extension settings for local SIP and RTP Ports.

On your remote router give your phone a static IP and port forward your local SIP and RTP ports specified in EXT settings on the PBX.

I would maybe lock down the firewall to accept these packets from your 3CX IP only as sometimes you can end up getting ghost calls.
