Having an issue with inbound calls with 3CX Hosted and a Flowroute SIP trunk. We used the Flowroute template and configured it the same as our other 3CX Hosted instances but could not receive any inbound calls.

Flowroute logs reported "604 Unavailable - No trunk or registration". A chat with Flowroute support said we needed to disable "Call Source ID" and stated "it seems 3CX changed a default setting with the Call Source ID. It should always be off and it seems they changed the default to on."

We checked our other, working 3CX Hosted instances using Flowroute and Call Source ID is indeed enable. We disabled Call Source ID and that change did allow inbound calls. I also saw https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/configuration-problem-with-flowroute.116909/ but adding a + did not solve the issue.

What is the proper setting for Call Source ID?

Hi @Chris-MBN

The correct setting is with with Call Source ID enabled and the correct settings are included in the template. What changed is the number format you need to use when adding your numbers to 3CX. You should add them using "+" for new installations since the new template reads the called number from a different SIP header.

Ah, I see now. The original trunk that was created without the + must be deleted and a new trunk with the + must be created. Merely adding the + to the existing trunk does not work.

Was the change documented in an update I missed?

If you have an already created trunk that should still work. For new trunks the numbers must be added with +.
The guide for Flowroute has been updated and its currently online.

You can mark this as solved.
