No "Templates" under Settings

Good morning,

• 3cx hosted platform
• License: Professional Annual

I do not have a button called "Templates" in the system settings.

Let me know if there is anything I can do. I did review the product comparison and did not see where it mentioned templates.

Please note that template access is not an option with 3CX Hosted instances.

Is there a work around? Manually load the XML file to the phone?

If so how would one do this.

There are no workarounds, and you should use only supported IP Phones which are tested and have a preconfigured template.

We are trying to use the Fanvil w610w, it seems others have got it to work without issue. In fact, Fanvil provides a template for it to work.

3cx is lacking cordless/wireless support.

• Are there any cordless phones supported?
• Why not add Fanvil W610W support?
  • It appears on the surface Fanvil is claiming it works just fine.

Any other outside of the box suggestions?

3CX needs to add the template for the Fanvil V63 as it is almost identical to the V65 and is listed as being supported in other threads here but for some reason not on the link above.. Attached is the template that Fanvil has provided.

Why did you bring up the Fanvil V63 in this conversation? In my email correspondence with the Fanvil rep they mentioned the following:

"To do this, you would have to wait for the official 3CX update where the V63 phone has already been added, this is expected to be in the coming weeks."

I would like to understand how the V63 template/phone is connected to the W610W and how this helps with the W610W deployment.

Because it revolves around the same issue. Unable to upload templates in hosted 3CX instances with phones that are supported by the manufacturer with them even providing a template.
