No V18 Upgrade Option

We recently upgraded our debian servers from V16 to V18. We have 1 windows server still on V16 and there isnt an upgrade option. Is the V18 upgrade delayed for windows or does this upgrade have to be done manually?

make sure your windows os is supported for v18 https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/phone-system-installation-windows/

steps

1. Backup existing 3cx with fqdn and license - move this backup to a folder outside of the 3cx folders.
2. Uninstall 3cx
3. Reboot machine
4. Install v18, selecting restore from backup - select backup from step 1

Make sure your exclude 3CX folder from AV scanning step 2.3 in above link

Just to clarify, the reason the steps @Saqqara laid out are required is because the option to upgrade directly from v16 to v18 does not exist, uninstalling and re-installing to v18 with a backup is the officially 3CX supported method for upgrading on a Windows machine.

As you already have Debian versions , you could convert the server to run Debian instead of windows

backup 3cx server with fqdn and license
install 3cx from Debian iOS image, restore from backup during the installation process
