Hi there.

I just setup 3CX Startup, I've received my confirmations for the forums (obviously) and the 3CX account to setup the PBX.

Problem is that startup is NOT sending welcome emails to me or any of my team. Nothing in spam. Nothing in junk. No email at all. And yes, email is working fine and the addresses have been verified.

Can someone help me out here?

Hi @JayWalker

Have you tried sending a welcome email to a different email domain to see if that works?

Hi @YiannisH_3CX

It sends to a gmail address.
It does not send to a hosted O365 address in either this domain (techsec.ca) or any other domain I have setup in O365.

@YiannisH_3CX
I had to send each welcome email to my gmail account and then forward it to the proper, corresponding email.

Is this an issue with the domain, the highlevel domain .ca (as both the original and alternative are .ca addresses) or both?

Hi @JayWalker

We found a few "techsec.ca" emails in our bounce list and we removed them so try again. If you are still facing issues with other email addresses then send me a DM with a list of email addresses so we can check those as well.

The .ca domain is not blacklisted on our side.

Email addresses usually get blacklisted if the extensions in 3CX are created before the main boxes are. So our SMTP tries to send the emails and if those bounce a number of times then they are blacklisted.
Its a good idea to create the main boxes and have them active before creating the extensions in 3CX.

Yep. That did the trick.

Thanks.

Glad I could assist
