Non-Compatible In-Ear Headset?

I have a Plantronics BT600 in-ear headset,and I am now with 3CX...I have found that I am unable to press the Answer/End call button on the back of my headset to manage calls, I HAVE to be sitting at my pc in order to answer...is there a way to fix this?

You are trying to use the answer/hang up button on the headset to answer calls from the desk phone or phone the soft phone on the computer?

The softphone app...have tried it in the Windows app and the Web Client

Yes I did see that, but if it's compatible does that also mean I can control answering and ending calls ON the headset?

That would be my assumption...that all features on compatible headset would work, unless stated otherwise. Audio alone will probably work for just about any headset. It's the other features that are going to be the tricky part.
