I have just recently installed the 3cx system on a W2003 svr and I have the 3cx softphone, xlite softphone and a Nortel 1140E registered to my system. When i call between SP's they both ring and I have speech path, when i call from my 1140E to either SP, i get speech path, but when i call the 1140e from either SP the 1140e rings but i cannot get a call to est, i cannot get the 1140e to answer the call. Any ideas? the sip fw version on the 1140e is 02.02.16.00, all the other ftrs of the 1140e phone seem to work fine during the ringing (ie: redirect, decline, ignore)..

On another note, does anyone have the sip sw for a Cisco 7960..thanks in advance

I have got the exectly the same issue. I am using Nortel IP Phone 1120E and using the same firmware as you 02.02.16.00.
From IPPhone1120e to SoftPhone, no issue. From SoftPhone call to 1120E, the Nortel 1120E does not able to pick up. Same issue from Nortel 1120E to Nortel 1120E. It is ringing, but not able to answer.
I have made Nokia N95 working fine on the 3CX system. The issue is focus on the Nortel IP Phone 1120E. I have noticed this phone is not on the IP Phone compatible list. As this is the IP Phone we got, can some one help me to solve this issue.

On Nortel's website it has the SIP firmware available for the 1140E (password required for download, of course) but mentions that it is for MCS 5100 users only. Is that the load you are using? Do they offer another SIP load? I'm wondering if it is a version of SIP but not a completely compatible version. You could always "Wireshark" the messaging to see what differences there are between the different types of calls.

Never mind... did a little more searching...link to SIP release 2.2.21 http://support.nortel.com/go/main.jsp?cscat=SWDETAIL&id=967522&poid=15721

Reading a bit more about this SIP release...Nortel says that it is "for Nortel Communication Server CS1000 Release 6.0, MCS5100 Release 3.5/4.0, AS5200 Release 6, AS5200 Release 7 SP1 and for third-party BroadSoft BroadWorks Server Release 14 SP4."

It doesn't mention that it is a general SIP standard firmware load. Makes me wonder if they intend it to be completely SIP compatible.
