So a resident is complaining that they only see generic caller Id info(city, state) for inbound calls, and it doesnt display the number thats calling. Currently our provider is siptrunk.com, and I believe we have CNAM lookup enabled, and the inbound parameters are set as follows

To: User part for callednum,
From:display name for callers name,
From: user part for caller number

To my knowledge that should allow for the name that pulled to appear with the number as it seems to be doing in the logs, but some callers show up with a name, but can call again later and come up as "wireless caller". I checked the cnam of a couple "wireless callers" and they came up as having names, but its showing up as a city, state or a "wireless caller" in 3cx. Is there a way to fix this or would it lie with the provider?

If you have confirmed, either through the Activity Log, or Wireshark, that the "City/State", or "wireless caller" is coming from your provider, (and i suspect it is), then you'd have to talk to them. They may be using a database that does not contain those numbers, or, a name may already be attached when they receive the call, and therefore leave it "as-is" when passing it onto you.

Yeah, I gave them a call, its their database and they said they cant update it as a whole, only can update specific numbers. Unfortunate, but at least I can focus on what I'm actually able to fix now, thanks.
