Solved Number One Complaint from nearly all my users.... Why cant we change the ringtone.....

I get comments like its driving me insane... Its so jarring... I hate that tune... etc etc etc

I see its been requested for a few years on loads of threads to be able to change the ringtone on the web client which is obviously also now the v18 Desktop App...

Its a feature that every phone has and is so requested... So why are 3CX being so stubborn in refusing to provide such a basic function as a ring tone selector... Whilst on the subject - it should also be possible to select different ringtones for internal, external, ring group, queue calls....

Please please please implement this before my users go insane - already they are silencing their computers which is resulting in missed calls.

We are using the Desktop app as wanted to use the latest client rather than the old one that's now labelled "legacy" but its sorely missing this function.

Please help....

You are correct that it's not something you can change for now. However you'll have to follow the standard procedure of escalation to the Ideas forum, instead I'd recommend voting on this idea that is already established: https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/change-ringtone-in-webclient.70639/

I have already voted - please can i urge everyone else who dislikes the desktop app ringtone or who wants to be able to choose your own ringtones to follow the link above to the 2 year old request and give it some votes...
