Hi i just installed 3cx on a home computer witch i have foward all my ports to make sure i can use off network exactions conecting via the internet. Using Xlite and 3cx voip client i used my external ip to connect both on my network and off my network exactions. My buddy off the network could not hear anything besides the connecting rings, I can hear him but he cant hear a thing.

i have the same problem, is anyone who solved the problem?

you give to less information. But as far as I know you should run a firewall check first. Sometimes it' s not only portforwarding for NAT but also for firewall. Can you do the firewall test, and tell us what it says.

Hello again,

i have an external xlite client, but one way audio. I can hear the external client audio, but my internal audio is not going out to the external xlite client.
I try something and read your tunnel description.

My 3CX server ip: 192.168.0.13
My internal xlite client ip: 192.168.0.100
my 3cx WAN IP: 78.180.193.102

the external xlite client ip: 192.168.0.103
the WAN IP of the external network is: 84.57.172.151

here my protocol about the connection.
What is wrong here?

can anyone give me some tips?

the external client has STUN stun.3cx.com activated and can connect successfull to my 3cx server, but only one way audio.

other question is, how can i use the tunnel option in xlite. I searched the forum, but can not found a solution.

greetings
Erkan

Does the external extension have ports forwarded? They need not to be blocked for incoming traffix from your 3CX.
Take a look there too, not only into your own 3CX. I don' t see something wrong in your log, so that' s why I think of the other party where things go wrong. the X-lite runs on a computer, so is firewall on computer also on? Are ports forwarded there too? Or only in 3CX computer. And please, as I asked run the firewall test in 3CX, you can find that under " general" settings.

Thanks for the fast response.

The external extension (i mean the external computer) doesnt have ports forwarded.
Which ports must be opened for the external client?

The firewall on the 3cx server and external client computer is off.
(windows firewall and other software firewalls)

Yes i run the firewall test successfull.
All port from 9000 until 9015 state is information(9)
9000 - 9015 in tcp and udp are open.

everybody some ideas?

Greetings
Erkan

i have found this error in mediaserver log

C:10.3: No RTP packets were received:remoteAddr=192.168.0.13:28364,extAddr=0.0.0.0:0,localAddr=127.0.0.1:7030

what is wrong in my firewall settings?
is the problem on the 3cx server side firewall or on the external internet client firewall site?

I had the same, and the problem was on the client side. So there you should be shure that everything is open as it should.
Did you configure in the extension in 3CX that PBX delivers Audio? Try playing with that setting too.
