Office License Needed for Teams Integration?

Hello,

When I try to find the add on for Microphone Phone System, all i get is this:




Did the name change for Teams Phone Standard license?


In any case, I do not know where to find the add on and the price of the add on. Any ideas?

Yes, Business Voice is the new license. However, please note that the Teams integration will be deprecated for a newer one in a future update. It will work as long as it works, but will not be updated for the moment.

@ConceptsWeb : Says on the website (screenshot above) that Business Voice addon is no longer available for purchase since March 2022. What's the name of the replacement?

Also, should I bother with team integration at this point since it will be deprecated soon?

Not really. The next one will be much easier and more reliable. But it will take time.

I don't know if its because I am in Canada or that I only have the Microsoft Teams Exploratory license to my current account,

But I cannot see the Microsoft Teams Phone Standard addon in my search result like you do @SweetAction .

I was trying to get the price information for this addon for a customer who was interested in making calls with Teams directly. Seems an expensive option while they can just use the 3CX for windows or Mac apps...

You need a Business or E3-E5 license to have the Teams addon.

You are saying the only license you have currently is the exploratory? No Business or E/A/G/etc licenses?

The cost is fairly straightforward - in USD, $8 minimum for phone. + you need to be licensed for Teams somehow. And if you don't have 3CX/direct routing, add $12/$24 for a calling plan for dial tone. Microsoft does have the old Business Voice bundle that has all 3 in 1.

Yes, it's an extra expense and not quite needed unless the customer insists on calls being in Teams for various reasons.

You need a Business or E3-E5 license to have the Teams addon.

I think any license that gives you a mailbox will work, including E1.
