Solved Old E-mail templates?

One of our customers just pointed out that they did not like the E-mail templates from their v16 machine, after some research and comparison it appears that they are using old templates for the E-mail, but they are using v16. Their system was upgraded over the years, am I correct in assuming that E-mail templates never got updated on this system, is that normal? Can I copy-paste templates from a newer installation into their system?

Are they perhaps using custom templates? If so, a custom email parameter will exist in their system.

Which email templates specifically?

There are no custom templates in use.
I have checked the parameter MAILTEMPLATE_EXTWELCOME_CUSTOM which is not present.
However it looks like the templates just havn't been upgraded over the years.
Is there a way to upgrade these templates anyway?

Your templates should be updated when the PBX receives updates. Is this a Linux system by any chance?

This is indeed a linux system.
It has been fully patched to 16.0.676
However the templates seem to be outdated.
I have attached the welcome email for reference.

You have pending updates, you need to be on 16.0.5.611 to get the latest templates.

Please update it from your management console.
