Looking for some advice please.
ON PREM install (debian) Ver 20 update 5
In linux (root) time is correct
In 3cx Admin panel I see the time is correct
NPT in debian is running and time is correct.
Yet all YEALINK phones are off and they don't even match,
2 things I noticed
When I provisioned the phone , I then log into the phone and see what was changed.
When I go into Network / Basic (yealink gui) I see an OLD decommissioned DNS server which I don't know where in the system this is being taken from.
When I view the CONFIG file
#######################################################################################
## Time Settings ##
#######################################################################################
#Configure the time zone and time zone name. The time zone ranges from -11 to +12, the default value is +8.
#The default time zone name is China(Beijing).
#Refer to Yealink IP Phones User Guide for more available time zones and time zone names.
#local_time.time_zone = +8
#local_time.time_zone_name = China(Beijing)
local_time.time_zone =-5
local_time.time_zone_name = Canada(Montreal,Ottawa,Quebec)
#Configure the domain name or the IP address of the NTP server. The default value is cn.pool.ntp.org.
local_time.ntp_server1 = (WRONG IP)
local_time.ntp_server2 = (WRONG IP)
ALSO
NOTHING i put in there (NPT) will fix the time (in the yealink gui), THE ONLY WAY I CAN FIX the time is by MANUALLY setting this time in the YEALINK GUI for EACH phone
Does anyone have any advice?
