And just to confirm: I log in to the forums as using my forum name, not using my email address, although the email address is in the forum profile, and it's the same address used for my partner account. After the change, I'll log in only with the email address?

That is correct. It will be part of the 3CX Single Sign on which works with email only. (For example when you visit the Customer Portal you are being redirected to login.3cx.com to authenticate. It will be working exactly the same way. Not only will you have one set of credentials but also provide them only once to logon to both systems.)

Does my forum name remain?

Yes. Nothing will be affected regarding forum names, posts e.t.c

Also, why are many users suddenly "new members" even if they've been on here more than a decade?

It has always been like that. The forum software "calculates" the status of members based on the number of posts they have and not how long they have been registered for.

Hi all,

As our Portal account is a company registered email address and this account is tied to a personal email, I see a problem. If I take my certification, it will be registered to the company portal address. If I ever leave this company, I will no longer have access to it.

I have been previously told that I cannot swap certifications to a different account, so I'll have to redo my certs on the new company portal account, yes?

Not encouraging for the consultants who swap companies every three months.

you can now also change your email address in the customer portal. But it might be simpler that the partner accounts add you with your consultant email address into their account.
