Is there any way to have an extension be able to dial out with different caller IDs? For example, an outbound rule that says if area code starts with 816, send the 816 DID. Or have them be able to dial a certain number before they call out and it will send the appropriate caller ID? We have a department wanting to make sales calls but they want everyone they call to receive a local caller ID because "Nobody answers 800 numbers."

Yes, just prefix the required number with a prefix, and in outbound rules create a rule using extension number and prefix and remove the prefix using strip digits , set the outbound called id

If it is a group of extensions (sales team), you can select specify multiply extensions in the extension field - 100,110 , 120-130, then set the outbound caller id

Note : outbound rules are processed from the top down

I'm not sure I understand. We only have 1 SIP trunk and the trunk contains all the area code DIDs we own.

Nevermind, I see the setting for outbound caller id in the outbound rules section. I've got it, thanks!
