Ongoing calls Hangup during submit

I am using sip trunk to connect elastix 2.4 to outside.
Whenever I change some settings through elastix GUI (for e.g added new sip extension) and submit & apply configuration changes, all calls hangup while reloading.
But whenever I reload it from Asterisk CLI it wont disconnect the calls.
What can be the possible solution?

Sir, I am inclined to believe that it may be a "bug" you have found in the software in the way they have it saving the inputted results, although I could be wrong.

You may want to file it as a bug report and see where it takes you from there. I myself not having that issue, I am using 2.4.0.2 and that maybe where it is at as you are using 2.4.0.8. I also have 2.5 on the test bench and tried what you described and didn't see it doing the issue either.

Sir harsh,

I would submit it as a bug report and see what feed back you get.

You can submit that at: bugs.elastix.org

No need to upgrade to 2.5 at this point for something that may be a simple fix.
