Online Dedicated server

Hi, anyone got any recomendations on Online Dedicated Servers?

Im currently looking at: AMD 2000+ 1.5GB DDR RAM, 80GB HDD, 2000GB BANDWIDTH

My concerns are:

1. Anyone got any idea how much bandwidth 3cx uses in a month, we got only 3 people using it at normal business hours. and we are not heavy users.
2. What problems normally encounted with online servers?
3. If the server is in the USA and we are in UK would that cause too much lag, or latency?

Hi,

If you are in the UK then I wouldn't run your PBX on a US based server.

Bandwidth used is likely to be very low from my experience.

I'm running a few 3CX PBXs in the UK as VPSs This is best suited where clients using it are at different remote locations.

I can provide you with a HyperV VPS with Windows Server 2003 or 2008 standard, and 2 Gb ram with 25 Gb SAS iSCSI SAN storage for £50 + vat per month Ram and storage can be upgraded for a additional monthly cost. Bandwidth would be 2000 Gb per month but I'd be very surprised if you even used 100 Gb
