Hi, newby here.
How can I pass a custom variable captured from the CFD to the Windows App?

I only see in the documentation that the following variables are supported:
%CallerNumber% which will contain the incoming caller ID.
%CallerDisplayName% which will contain incoming display names.

And I want to pass my custom variable AuthID

What would be the syntax for opening a URL of the type:

https://www.example.com:8080/search.htm?searchtext=AuthID

You cannot pass data from the CFD to the app this way. The only variables available are the two listed.

If you wish to open a URL via the CFD + DesktopApp/Webclient/PWA, you can use the "public_crm_contact" call data in the CFD (AttachCallData component) and use a JSON like this as the content of the call data:

JSON:
{
    "FirstName": "John",
    "LastName": "Doe",
    "Email": "[email protected]",
    "ContactUrl": "https://example.com/contacts/42013984654",
    "CompanyName": "",
    "PhotoUrl": null,
    "ContactType": 0,
    "PhoneBusiness": "+123456789",
    "PhoneBusiness2": null,
    "PhoneHome": null,
    "PhoneHome2": null,
    "PhoneMobile": "",
    "PhoneMobile2": null,
    "PhoneOther": null,
    "FaxBusiness": null,
    "FaxHome": null,
    "Pager": null,
    "ContactRawData": "42013984654|Contacts"
}

The ContactUrl property will be opened with the same type of popup as the server-side CRM integration.
