open Fixed IP and SIP port 5070

Hello,
You’ll never imagine how many troubles in routing and nat
My be because of ISP, The router and the firewall
I have a lot of devices and software using 5060
Also some devices does not work if first port is not 5060
So try with 5060 and also use stun
No problems in voice quality with stun

If you do not notice he has more than 100 posts not only 50

All my internal and external voip phones and soft phones are routed to 5060
Also all providers are routed to 5060 without any troubles
So why I should use other ports

I’m not very experience with 3cx
But I found it too easy and I enjoyed it very much
And I have a callcentric account
So I’m confused a little that you can not register

I would strongly advise you to change your attitude towards people who are trying to give you help and advice or buy a support contract so that you can abuse people who are paid to put up with the likes of you.

In this thread alone you have probably alienated 2 members who should, in my opinion, ignore your posts in the future. Your previous posts also make interesting reading and show some good examples of your attitude.

I would agree that a very small minority of members are, as you say, points chasing but the vast majority are trying to help. Responses may not always be spot on and sometimes questions are misunderstood but answers and suggestions are usually given in good faith in an attempt to help.

Anyway I found the item that I needed to edit.It is posted at http://docs.google.com/View?docid=dqnz5cc_44fqd5ffdb

It refers to internal internal device connection,and really makes no direct mention that it is applicable if the server is on a public IP

If you want the system on an open IP which is not clearly laid out anywhere that I have found you must use this.

Can you please explain why would I use different ports?
I have a Nat
Router 5060 -5069 routed to 3cx server
And ip phones connected externally to other 3cx server, other ip PBX, and voip providers (for many reasons we need it out the server)
Works well now
If I have much more calls I’ll force problems?

I see that the original post and the useful solution he posted was DELETED! His fix appears only as a quote with the name of another. I think that is horrible. Maybe his attitude was not the best however he was right in that nobody that replied in the thread appeared to even understand his post.

His contribution WAS GENUINE as we were having the same issues and I read this thread!

You would use different ports becauuse those ports are already in use on the server for another program. Lets say you had two different PBX programs running and one uses default 5060 port, the other you would have to change to a different port.
