Open RTP flow problem

Hello

I have a problem with severel users.
When they answer the calls the audio only opens 2 to 3 seconds latter
In the same 3CX server some users experince this problem others do not

Usually this is a soundcard matter - do they use bluetooth?

Some yes other use cabled headsets

I suspect hardware related problems but i out off idias, since i updaed the drivers in the concerned users computers

Apart from bluetooth, which is a slow-opening device, me I encountered this kind of delay on Realtek soundcards on Windows 10 - it was quite obvious on any kind of application, including browser's YouTube; the fix (hack?) there was a registry key for Realtek soundcard so I cannot recommend it since it was undocumented.

I suggest you the following test in order to rule out the soundcard:
- enable extension to allow multiple calls
- make a call to *777
- after it's established, have the incoming call you mentioned and see if audio still opens after 2-3 seconds. if not, it means it's the soundcard involved. The explanation is that the *777 established call has already opened the soundcard.
