opening webclient

Hi,
I suppose its something others already asked but its hard to describe then hard to search.

context :
When chrome extension is install and activated, when chrome mains windows are closed but when 3cx is still runing on background and only pop-up when someone call.

problem :
if we right click on small icon near time and select 3cx, it doesn't open the webclient but a page saying we have to activate chrome extension wich is already done

how to open webclient or the small black 3cx extension window without opening chrome and clicking on the extension phone icon ?
everytime we make a demo/training of 3cx webclient, we have to show to open chrome, launch bookmark to main webclient page or click to extension phone icon the click on contact to open webclient, its not "clean".

furthemore, when someone call but we are working on another thing, we click somewhere before taking the call and 3cx small black extension go behind wich is not convenient at all. Lot of users reports this as annoying, have you a good solution to let 3cx in front when recieving a call?

Hi!

The Browser Extension is a Chrome plugin and to open it's "panel", you need to trigger it via Chrome.

While that may look inconvenient during a demo, I think most workers nowadays that use a PC pretty much need a browser open constantly for something, whether it is a CRM, looking up information, etc.
So in real-life scenarios, I think that launching the Browser Plugin isn't such an inconvenience. Also note that to open the plugin, the user doesn't need to go to the WebClient page, all they need to do is click on the plugin icon even if they are currently viewing another page.

So on an incoming call the plugin pops-up. If you accidentaly click somewhere else and it is hidden behind another window, the Task Bar icon for the plugin will remain flashing, so that should be enough to let the user know that it is open.

thx for your answer despite the fact that you don't give me a "solution" but instead you tell me how it works and that we cant do better. this is the biggest "issue" we have here, its not a big deal but its not convenient at all...seems like you should improve 3cx chrome extension configuration ?

I see, I'm not sure if there is a lot that can be done about that as the Notification Area icon is something Chrome creates and populates, but it is good as feedback.
