Hi
Couple days ago I've bought T-com TC300 dual GSM/VoIP phone for affordable price. After some tests I'd like to share my opinion about this handy with you. It's basically same hardware as Pirelli DP-L10 (http://www.pirellibroadband.com/en_IT/browser/attachments/pdf/DPL10.pdf) phone but in different envelope so I've changed firmware to non T-com branded one form Pirelli.
Most important (to me) points:
- This phone can use WPA and WPA2 for WiFi without any problems (which is not so obvious for other equipment I've tested even if it was suppose to support this encryption methods).
- It has STUN support.
- G711a, G711u, G729 codec support
- Last but not least
: It works perfectly with 3CX and it's stable!
After comparison with very lousy Nokia E65 SIP client I'm very positively surprised by this little handy.
But there is a trade-off - you will not find any fancy gadgets (except photo camera) in this phone, major minus is absence of bluetooth support and short battery life if phone is logged into both GSM and WiFi networks.
So, if you are looking for relatively cheap and simple dual mode phone, you should definitely put this one on your list!
Thanks
Marcin
