OPUS codec and stereo call recording

Hi,

We are currently running the latest version of 3CX on premise.
I am aware that the call recordings in 3cx are kept as mono.
Just wanted to know whether the call recording can be made to stereo format if we change the codec to OPUS as it supports Stereo.
Or is there a way to make the call recordings into Stereo format instead of mono?
Can someone please shed some light into this?
