Hi,
I've started getting Call Failed errors in UI when trying to make or receive phone calls (internal and external, including short numbers like voicemail, etc.) via WebClient recently.
I use MS Edge Version 94.0.992.3 to login to Webclient.
My 3CX server (version 18.0.214) is hosted on AWS.
I don't see any errors or failures in server log.
At the same time I can make and receive calls using 3CX mobile and Windows Desktop clients.
I can send and receive text messages using WebClient.
However, I m getting the same Call Failed error message in UI when trying to make a video call.

Can anyone please help? Let me know if you need more details on this issue.

Is the error only happening on video calls?

Also, is the permissions for microphone and webcam set to Allow?

Not only video calls. Voice calls as well.
What do you mean by permissions for microphone and webcam in Edge browser? Please note the issue which I am currently experiencing is in browser (WebClient) only.

Click the lock icon beside the address bar and make sure permissions are set to Allow.

Can you try the same extension's webclient on a different PC, different browser (e.g google chrome) and different network? Do you get the same thing?

Hi Chris,

Thanks for helping me. I tried to use different network along with Edge browser - still no luck. BUT, when I downloaded and tried Firefox, it DID worked well.
So, the Edge browser was the issue. I recall there was recent update to Edge. They could have added something incompatible with 3CX webclient.

Anyway, please consider this topic resolved.

Glad to see you managed to resolve this! We are not aware of any issues with edge and I just tested the latest version in conjunction with 3CX V18.0.1.214 and had no issues with it so the issue might be related to something specific on that PC such as browser extensions, settings ,etc.

In any case, do let us know if anything comes up!
