Outbound caller id

I setup the outbound caller id field on a SIP trunk line however it does not appear to work.

Voip Providers / Edit Providers / Edit Port [ Other Options ]

Have I misunderstood this function or could this be a SIP provider issue/setup

I am using engin AU as the SIP provider

it depends of the voip provider

1. where does he like to see the caller id
2. in witch way he likes to see the caller id, sipgate with without 00 as international predial (for germany 49211...)
3. is the caller ID valid (no screening)

best to check this with ur provider and get the infos from there...
