Hey Team,
Server: Elastix 2.5.0.1
Phones: Grandstream GXP2160
PSTN Gateway: Grandstream GXW-4108
Problem: Gateway is a 8 port pstn, I have set up several outbound routes that when dialed by an extension is supposed to use that outbound route. Problem is that when I dial a number from any extension it uses the last line on the gateway all the time.
So I have a outbound route for extension say 1000 that is set up as follows Dial pattern is no prepend, no prefix, 1NXXNXXXXX/1000 with "Trunk Sequence for Matched Routes" as line one (Trunk 1) in the first slot...... I have 5 lines (trunks) all together and for some reason when I used extension 1000 (that is set up to use line one) it is always dialing out on line 5 (trunk 5)....
If I go to extension 2000 and dial outbound that is setup to use trunk 2 (no prepend, no prefix, 1NXXNXXXXXX/2000 and Trunk Sequence for Matched Routes set to trunk 2) it still goes out trunk 5 and not trunk 2.....
In other words, all extensions are using trunk 5 as caller ID which tells me that trunk five is what is being used to dial out on.....
How or what should I check to force an extension to use a certain trunk only? Does the way I have the outbound route setup not the right way?...
