I am trying to put together how I am going to set up 3CX as an Outbound Dialer.

My CRM (SuiteCRM - Basically SugarCRM) has the "Calls" Module. I want to use CFD to query the Calls module via REST based on fields

For example, suppose I have a field called "Type" and a field called "Status." For the Calls I need to cold call with the dialer, I will set the "Type" field to "Cold Call," and for the calls that haven't been dialed yet, I would set the Status to "Planned." So the CFD would only dial the Calls that are both "Planned" and "Cold Call."

Once the call is dialed, I would need the PBX to update that specific call's "Status" to "Held." NOTE: I don't want the PBX to Journal a DIFFERENT Call (meaning, I don't want it to create a different Call record in the CRM database), I need the PBX to update the status of the same Call record that it queried to make the outbound call.

If I get something other than a 200 response, I would need it to update another field to indicate that the call was unsuccessful.

Is this scenario possible? Would this affect standard CRM journaling? For example, if I receive an inbound call, I still want the PBX to journal the call as it normally would (look up the Lead/Contact in the CRM and create a new Call entry).
