Hi,
Quick question,
Is there a way to assign which line is directed to which fxo?

Cuz on outbound rules route one is configured as the only trunk we got and same goes to route 2 and 3.

But when we make a call, the call is made by line 4 which I need it to be made by line 1 or 2 or 3 based on the chosen line from the client.

Any one needs me to explain more? I'm trying my best with my English

if someone wants to use trunk 1
number to dial is 10 digits:8005551212

to use trunk 1:
dial:8005551212
rule:1
Calls to Numbers with a length of:10
route 1 trunk 1 strip digits 0


if someone wants to use trunk 2:
number to dial is 10 digits:8005551212

to use trunk 2:
dial:55558005551212
rule:2
Calls to Numbers with a length of:14
route 1 trunk 2 strip digits 4


you can select the trunk from the number you dial, its easy in the usa as all phone numbers are 10 digits, it could get more complicated in other areas.

Not sure on the Grandstream but you may find a post if you have a search, I know with a Patton you need to configure/break the trunks individualy on the gateway.

Will do some search about this, although yes I can add the numbers in it but can't see any thing that would help me with this issue

I believe that on Grandsteam gateways, you can select the particular PSTN line using a prefix (99X).
Go down to Port Scheduling Schema , on this page...

This may require modifying the template, or manually provisioning.

What i do know is Grandstream would be a bit more user friendly as they have a more simple interface.
