Hello,

I need help with outbound parameters, so we are using non standard sip provider and his request for working outbound calls is to change a and b number

Under TO that number 123456789 must be changed to short number fixed lets say 4433. Maybe someone knows where I cant change it?

Before: To: <sip:[email protected]:5060>
After: To: <sip:[email protected]:5060>

Hi @emtexcc

The TO number is the number you are dialing. You can just dial the short version of the number.

Hi @YiannisH_3CX

thanks for reply.

Yes I know but I need to replace to and from number. That is provider request. So when I call etc 123456789 that number is going to: FROM, but TO is the short number that is configured at outbound parameters. So I need to replace that two things

So:

To: short number <sip:[email protected]:5060>

From: 123456789 <sip:[email protected]:5060>;tag=f625b10b

Is there a specific pattern to the numbers? So the short version of the number is missing a set amount of digits? Or is the short number the same for all calls?

I really think the solution is to find a supported provider to have a better experience and support.

Hi @YiannisH_3CX

it is not missing. It is same for all calls.

Yes I know but in country where is the number there is no supported provider.

Then you can add the short number in the TO:UserPart field as a custom value in the outbound parameters and select the option "CalledNum" for the From:UserPart.

Hi @YiannisH_3CX

To: Host Part is changing sip adress and port on number with this configuracion its looking like this

To: short number <sip:123456789@443>

But I need to replace 123456789 with 443

Sorry about that. i meant to put the 4433 to the TO:UserPart
Your settings should look like this:

Hi @YiannisH_3CX

tryed that but it is not replacing 123456789 with short number it is still same. Any other way to force it?

I tried that my self and we seem to have an issue there so we will further investigate. To be honest we never had to change the TO:UserPart as all our supported providers work this way.
For now there is no way to force it I am afraid. You could ask your provide if they will accept the short number in a different SIP Field.
