If you specify an outbound proxy server as well as a registrar server then the REGISTER is sent to the Outbound Proxy.This seems wrong and breaks incoming calls since the SIP server doesn't get the REGISTER. Is there some SIP Trunk configuration item that can be used to change this so that the REGISTER is sent to the the SIP server?
Please don't ask why I need this or make suggestions about how to solve my problem as you imagine it without it. The engineer at the trunk provider seems sure there is a way to configure 3cx so it doesn't send REGISTER to the Outbound Proxy. I do however need it sent to the SIP server.
