I just combined 2 small systems into 1 and put it on the web, I am having trouble getting calls from site A to go out over the" A" Sip trunks, Site B calls over "B" SIP trunks. I set up the out bound rule to allow site A extensions to go out over the 'A" SIP trunks. all calls are going out over "B" Trunks. any ideas how to send the calls out the correct trunks?

Who is the SIP trunking provider and are they supported by 3CX and IP or Registration based SIP trunks ?

Are the SIP trunk coming from same Provider?
Are they both seen registered on 3CX side?

Can you give more details on what you've done to set this?
is it possible to see a screen copy of your outbound rules (hide sensitive infos)

Probably best to ask that question after we find out if the trunks are registration based or IP authenticated - as you are probably aware IP authenticated will show green at all times regardless of whether they are working or not.

Yes Ed, i've 50% chance to be good only :D

Both Sets of trunks are NEXTIVA trunks and worked perfectly on the 2 individual system with correct caller ID. all call from system are coming from the site "B" list.

Both sets are registration based .

Trunk A is set for wayne group?
Trunk B for phoenixville?

yes and yes.. the groups are filled with extensions from each location.

Problem may come from your SIP provider side as you have 2 trunks registred coming from same public IP, on 5060 so it may be a conflict.

Ask them if you need to set something different on one trunk.
on a French customer i've got similar case with 2 trunks coming from same provider, and provider ask me to change SIP connection IP provider server on one trunk to be sure to identify properly each account (registred based)

is there any way to track the outbound call as to what "trunk" they are going out on?

set logs in verbose mode and do a test call, you should find the rule used and id of trunk in log.

Have you done a test with Wayne trunk alone, try for test to modify your rules to use only Wayne trunk and let us know if you are able to use the trunk.

As a test, if you specify some originating extensions, in the outbound rules, that are not currently using the desired route, does it then work for them?

I have sent an email to the provider asking to verify the account info for the Site B is correct. I was getting ERROR 403. this i believe are registration based. wait and see what they say. thank you for the help!
