PA 15 Speaker

I converted a customer and connected their old speaker to a Viking pa 15.

We have confirmed the speaker works. We confirmed the pa 15 picks ups the call and confirmed it has a loud audible tone.

I have tried multiple Grandstream ht801 and ht802 devices. The device terminates the call abs goes off hook however the volume is a whisper.

There is no other reason for a low ton since we have confirmed the volume and tone.

I'm assuming you plugged an analogue phone into the ATA, made a paging call, and confirmed that audio, on the phone, was at a "normal" level.

Was an analogue phone line originally connected to the PA system? If so, and the only difference now is that it is connected to the ATA instead, then I would suggest confirming that there is electrical continuity on both tip and ring leads. Perhaps you have a bad cord/connection on one side, although you did say it answered..

If you have one available, try connecting the PS system to a PSTN phone line, to see if you have the same problem.
