when paging a paging extension, the person making the page can hear a ring tone a couple of times in the handset before the page goes through and on the phones that are being paged it takes a few seconds after the page tone before the announcer will be heard. it's a borderline too long of a wait before a person is able to speak after the page tone is heard.
is this normal / expected behavior?
