In our warehouse and manufacturing we have BOGENS amps and horns to do the paging. We also have a host of analog phones in the work area for people to page from. We have a Cyberdata Paging Server for the SIP paging adapter.

The issue we are having since the paging on the overhead happens on the fly we are getting bad feedback over the analog phones from the shop horns.

Is there anyway in 3CX to delay the page. I know we might not be able to delay the page that would broadcast over the Yealink desk phones. But I would like to put a delay into the paging on the amps.

There is probably a simpler way to do this. Hopefully others can offer a suggestion to simplify my suggestion.

Create a Call Flow Designer (CFD) application that records the caller's message. Then have the CFD copy the recording to an IVR prompt and update the IVR to use the new recording (via the Call Control API), then perform a MakeCall between the IVR and the paging extension. I think the IVR will cache the prompt file so it is necessary to use a new file name when the prompt changes?

Or, it is possible with MakeCall to pass a audio file as a parameter and MakeCall can play the audio and then hang up. I don't know if this is possible with the CFD but it is possible with the Call Control API
