We just replaced an old Nortel system at a school. We are using Fanvil X3U's in the classroom and the school staff is complaining that when they page a classroom (*11+ext #) the volume is too quiet (compared to the old Nortel system.) I'm inclined to think that the phone was not intended to be a PA system and there is little to be done. However, I know with some of the traditional PBX's there was an audio gain adjustment for the systems. Is there anything available like this for Fanvil phones on the 3CX system?
To be more clear, the office wants to be able to page and have a conversation with the teacher in the classroom by dialing *11 and the extension number. Currently the speaker volume is turned up all the way, but it is too quiet.
Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.
