Parameters to Send - External Application

Hello,

I am a new user at 3CX.
Need help with below 2 questions in regards to appending parameters (caller & callee information) on my website URL while opening a new Chrome page..


1- Are there additional parameters apart from [%CallerNumber% %CallerDisplayName%], that can be used while launching external application, or set as part of Web URL?

2- Would having (a) paid version (b) integration with external tools like CRM (Sales Force, MS 360, etc.) enable me append additional information as part of URL link?

[Currently only above named 2 parameters seems configurable in Client->Setting->Advance Settings->Behavior->Parameter to Send]

While, below 2019 post depicts no additional parameters apart from above 2, I am just trying to double check incase system has evolved thereafter.

Unfortunately the answer is "no" to both questions 1 and 2. If you want to do more, you will either need to look at the server-side integration, or a 3CX Phone for Windows plugin (which 3CX discourages), or subscribe to events directly using the Call Control API (not supported).

3CX has announced a new "gateway service" for 3CX version 18 which MAY give us more options in the future to subscribe to events, but for now the supported options are very limited. 3CX has not provided any information about whether we will be able to subscribe to phone events using the announced gateway service.

To address some of these limitations we built a relay agent that connects to the 3CX Call Control API. With our Relay, client (or server) applications can subscribe to phone events and perform tasks such as pushing additional parameters within a URL.

The most recent rumor I heard is that V18 will be released somewhere in the timeframe of 3rd quarter of 2021.
